The Box Anchor Outdoor Umbrella Base keeps your Palmetto Umbrella secure and your patio looking sharp. Built from durable Tangent poly lumber, it handles real outdoor conditions without fading, warping, or needing any maintenance. A heavy-duty metal receiver locks your umbrella pole in firmly, and the open box design lets you add pavers, sand, or blocks to dial in exactly the weight you need for your space and wind conditions.
It also serves as the foundation for our Palmetto dining and bar table setups — the same base that anchors your umbrella keeps your table grounded and stable. Built in Charleston, SC for porches, pool decks, patios, and commercial outdoor settings alike.
Note: This product does not include weights. You will need to purchase paver bricks or some other weighted medium for the table. See our assembly and manuals page for more details on our recommended weights.
Every component of our umbrella is designed to be replaceable, extending its life far beyond a single season. Telescoping arms allow you to adjust canopy size over time - so whether your space grows or evolves, your umbrella can adapt without the need for a full replacement. It’s a smarter investment in durability, flexibility, and long-term value.
We believe outdoor furniture and shade should be as durable as it is beautiful. That’s why we use marine-grade Sunbrella® fabric for fade-resistant canopies, anodized aluminum frames for strength and corrosion resistance, and Tangent® poly-lumber for the timeless look of wood without the upkeep.
Every LaPorte product begins in our workshop, located in Charleston, South Carolina, where skilled hands and sharp eyes bring each detail to life — from sewing canopies with care to machining frame components with precision. Keeping everything under one roof means we can ensure consistent quality and craftsmanship you can trust.
